May 2006 Summary

Alright, so I didn’t get a chance to blog much last month, but there were a lot of things that were happening, so here are some highlights:
- Steven Curtis Chapman’s concert here in Shanghai - looks like it was a success and that on an operations level broke even and money donated will all be going to charity!
- Babies galore - Friends Hanna/Stephen and Becky/John both had kids here in Shanghai
- Couple of friends from back home have come through town for the first time so it was good to see some familiar faces and new ones
- Taxi fares have gone up from 10 RMB to 11 RMB, and distance fares have also gone up as well. Not a good sign…
- NHL and NBA playoffs are still going, and the World Cup is coming up in June! With the impressive play of the Toronto Blue Jays and Nadal and Federer still in the French Open, can the sports world get any better??
