After a quick flyby in Guangzhou I’m now in Lijiang hanging out with my brother. We’ll be heading up to Shangrila tomorrow and will hopefully have better weather then. Some quick thoughts over the last few days:

• Lijiang people are very nice. Even the solicitors are polite.
• Lijiang has done a great job preserving its heritage with some hi-tech improvements. Can you believe there’s internet access on top of Yulong mountain?
• As last but not least, yes, there are still funny signs here…
