After two months of hard sells from my friends about this new movie that they’ve recently watched, I had a chance to sit down and watch it. And I was not disappointed.
I’m not going to summarize this movie as you can find it here and through other sites, but I’ll give you these thoughts: If you’re a singer, songwriter, music lover, and romantic at heart, this is a must watch. I can’t believe a movie like this had escaped my viewing for so long.
Guy and Girl have great screen chemistry, and even better songs. The down-to-earthness of the two of them really remind me of my good friends goin’ for it with their pursuit of music, and the passion and desire to see the realization of those dreams.
The picture of what I had in mind of a singer/songwriter get together was done to the tee in this movie. Lots of eating, drinking, laughing, and reverence during song sharing. This begs the question, that I should be starting something like that here in SH…
A’ite, go watch it, and then tell me if you also thought the blue hoover was also very cute!
