Faith. Everything needs it, somehow and in some way, regardless of whether we are aware of it or not. There are many objects to a person’s faith. It could be a loved one, a dream, a person, or a God.
Without it, we become short-sighted, unable to take hold of what the future can promise. With it, we can hold steadfast in the darkest of storms, and have comfort even when the ground beneath us shakes.
But the question I propose is whether you feel the object of your faith is worth trusting in. Could it ever fail? Will it ever fall? Or is there someone or something more worthwhile to stand on?
